Memento Mori Book Club

Despite the very dour name, Memento Mori is a book club with a death positive mission to draw back the veil around the funeral industry and remove the stigma of discussing death and dying in our everyday lives. This group is for those with a healthy and active morbid curiosity, future morticians, and death enthusiasts. The reading list will include books exploring the history of the funeral industry, pre-planning for your own funeral, the variety of disposition methods now available, the many different professions that fall under the “death worker” umbrella, and much more. If you have an interest in the morbid and macabre, are trying to overcome death anxiety, or have a general curiosity about the funeral industry, you’ve come to the right book club.

The group meets every second Thursday at 6pm. Our in person meeting location is TBD. Check back soon!
